Perfect practice baby for big brother! The dolls eye open and close. The body is soft and feels more lifelike. Very sweet to watch the big brothers play.
UPDATE!!! The bottle cap is small enough to fit into a child's mouth and get caught inside their teeth. I had to pry it out of his mouth and throw it away. VERY SCARY!!!

This is the first review I am posting on Amazon because I think it's important for people not to be misled by the information that is stated regarding this doll. It says that it has been safety tested - however, the plastic is made of PVC vinyl, a highly toxic plastic both for people and the environment. There are other dolls sold on Amazon that are manufactured with vinyl that does not contain PVC. I contacted the company to ask what the dolls are made of and received this response: "Our dolls are made of 100% Vinyl and it does contain PVC but does not contain EVA and PEVA." I would give 5 stars to their honesty and buy other products from them as a result, but will have to return this doll.

Our 8 year old still loves to pretend play with babies, and these were perfect to add to her collection! And such a reasonable price! We also bought her a double stroller, and a set of boy/girl playpens---she loved it! I was concerned the babies would be too small for an 8 year old, but the dolls and their accessories matched up very well. (see photos) No problems with smell or coloring. Great gift!

This is a darling baby doll! I find it difficult to find a cute and realistic doll for my sweet girl that doesn't look too realistic or too cartoony with freaky big eyes. She's the perfect size for her double doll stroller and several baby doll outfits she has.

I like that her soft belly is full and "stuffed" a lot of baby dolls have a pretty limp feeling body. I like her cute little jammies made with higher quality fabric and they certainly don't feel cheap and starchy. She's got such a cute baby face and my three year old loves that her eyes open and close!

We had a family birthday party today for my greatniece's 2nd birthday. When she opened our gift, she lost interest in opening the remaining gifts. He wanted that baby and the accessories. She only played with her baby the rest of the party.

When we were leaving, her grandmother told us that we got the prize. I was perplexed and she could tell. She then said, "For having the best birthday present." They got her a $300 motorized Mercedes Benz!

I was proud in knowing that I knew what she would like even on my limited budget.

This doll set was exactly as described. Any little girl would be happy to get one for birthday or under the Christmas tree. I am a missionary in Guatemala, and Cristina is a little orphan girl (mother died). I got her this doll and a little adorable dishes set for her Christmas gift. She is so thrilled with it and that makes me, the purchaser, super happy too. I highly recommend this.

My 2 y.o. granddaughter loves this baby. She has difficulty with putting the shoes on....as do I at times....if the shoes are not lined up just right, they are difficult to push on. Also, velcro closures on clothes are not child friendly. Manufacturer should understand that one is dealing with a small child that is just learning/developing fine motor skills. Velcro strips should be wider and easier to "stick" (appears they are using a generic brand of self-stick closure and not true Velcro due to "stickiness" factor). Also, pacifier is NOT child friendly as far as putting it into the baby's mouth. The first time, my son (granddaughter's father) had to FORCE the pacifier into the doll's mouth. My granddaughter is still unable to place the pacifier into the baby's mouth. She has to bring the doll to someone to assist her....and she is NOT a mentally or physically challenged child! Like the shoes, the pacifier has to be placed in just the right position or it will not go in. The pacifier still takes a good amount of pressure to insert it into the baby's mouth, too....as I have said.

The baby's head does not turn at all. Would be nice if it would turn at least side to side. When my granddaughter lies her "baby" down to sleep, she ends up being face down because the head doesn't turn any. If anyone knows anything about a 2 y.o., one does NOT tell them NOT to put their "baby" like that, either (made THAT mistake by trying to show her about lying her "baby" on the baby's back. I won't do THAT again!!!)

If I had to do it over again, I would more than likely keep searching a bit more for a doll with the features I mentioned, even if it meant paying more.

Gesucht wurde eine Puppe, die nicht tamagotchi-like alle 5 Minuten nach Essen schreit oder aufs Klo gesetzt werden will und dann in mehr oder weniger großer Sauerei Flüssigkeit absondert. Außerdem eine Puppe, deren Gesicht nicht aussieht wie das eines Aliens, sodass sich unser Kind insofern damit identifizieren kann, dass es erkennt: hier wurde ein Mensch nachgebildet.
Gelandet sind wir nach umfangreicher Auswahl bei dieser kaum beachteten (bzw. kaum bewerteten) Puppe. Was auf den ersten Blick auffällt: ein hübsches Gesicht, sehr detailreich ausgeformt; Augen, die fast schon ausdrucksstark sind und ein Gesamteindruck, dass man die Puppe gerne anlächeln möchte. Im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Modellen, die wir anschauen durften (mussten), ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht.
Die Puppe kann die Augen öffnen und schließen, kann Arme und Beine bewegen (hat einen Weichkörper, eignet sich also auch einigermaßen zum kuscheln), und fertig. Keine lärmenden Extras, die sowohl Eltern als auch Kindern spätestens nach drei Tagen auf die Nerven gehen.
Die Puppe kommt mit einer Grundausstattung: Nachtstrampler inklusive Schnuller und Haube, Spielanzug, Crocs-ähnliche Schuhe, sowie Teller, Messer, Löffel, Flasche und eine kleine Rassel. In unserem Fall wurde die Puppe gleich getauft und in den Familienkreis aufgenommen. Auch wenn wir bei unserer Tochter zuvor keine sonderliche Puppenaffinität feststellen konnten, heißt es jetzt "pssst, Papa, Illy schläft gerade" ... aber auch (was jawohl die Höhe ist) "Papa, kannst Du Illy Flasche geben, Illy so anstrengend!" ... ;-).
Negativ: das Verpackungsdesign! Karton mit Plastik, innen alles mit Kabelbindern und Plastikklebebändern festgezurrt, damit die Verpackung außen schön ausschaut. Man braucht fast fünf Minuten, um alle Teile vom Verpackungsmüll zu befreien. Das geht schöner, nachhaltiger und praktischer auch. Weils der Spielfreude der Kleinen keinen Abbruch tut, hierfür gnadenhalber kein Sterneabzug...

These dolls are an absolute rip off. If you're considering purchasing them, don't. The quality is extremely poor. They look like sub standard dolls imported from China. They're not worth a quarter of the price that I payed for them and Amazon can have them right back.
